Am Freitag den 22. Januar wurde das Reifenlager der ESA St. Gallen technisch auf EPICK umgestellt. Die produktiven Prozesstests am On Friday, 22nd January the tyre warehouse of ESA St. Gallen technologically shifted to EPICK. The productive process tests have been successfully conducted on Saturday morning. Thus the paper-free commissioning of tyres started on Monday.
The successful tyres go-live in St. Gallen is an important step for the EPICK project. The first branch office is completely shifted to paper-free commissioning, so there is no stop for the rollout of all other subsidiaries.
The St. Gallen subsidiary had the opportunity to gain experience with the MDE devices for service and expandable parts in the last few months. The logistics manager’s feedback for MDE commissioning was very positive. St. Gallen is very happy concerning the optimization of the crossdock process. The z-monitor developed by oneresource shortens the processing time for the distribution of crossdock products to the various delivery routes, which positively influences the adherence to delivery dates.
